Equal Opportunity Employment Policy
This policy is maintained by Stormhammer Security. Last reviewed: current cycle.
Stormhammer Security is an Equal Opportunity Employer. We make employment decisions — hiring, promotion, assignment, training, compensation, discipline, and termination — on the basis of merit, qualifications, and the operational needs of the business.
Protected Categories
Consistent with the California Fair Employment and Housing Act (FEHA), Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), the Age Discrimination in Employment Act (ADEA), the Uniformed Services Employment and Reemployment Rights Act (USERRA), and related state and federal law, no applicant or employee is treated differently because of:
- Race, color, national origin, or ancestry
- Religion, creed, or religious dress and grooming practices
- Sex, pregnancy, childbirth, breastfeeding, or related conditions
- Sexual orientation, gender identity, or gender expression
- Age (40 and over)
- Marital status, family or medical leave status
- Military or veteran status
- Physical or mental disability, or medical condition
- Genetic information
Recruitment and Selection
Job postings are written in inclusive language and distributed through general job boards as well as veteran-focused, disability-inclusive, and community channels. Interviews follow a consistent question set for each role so candidates are compared on the same criteria.
Pay and Advancement
Pay bands are set by role, license level (Guard Card, BSIS-registered), shift, and experience — not by any protected characteristic. Promotions follow posted eligibility criteria.
Reporting a Concern
Any applicant or employee who believes this policy has been violated can contact leadership directly and confidentially at Sales@stormhammersecurity.com. Reports may also be filed with the California Civil Rights Department (CRD) or the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC). Retaliation against anyone who reports a concern in good faith is prohibited.
