Editorial Policy
Vetting & Editorial Methodology
Applies to every landing page, comparison page, guide, and blog post published on sacsecuritypatrol.com.
Who writes and reviews
All operational content is reviewed by the Stormhammer Security, Inc. operations desk — Dmitriy Verbovshchuk (CEO, licensed CA private patrol operator) and Mike Strasburg (Co-owner, field operations). Combined ~50 years of Sacramento-region patrol experience. Editorial contact: (530) 902-9390.
How we vet claims
- Licensing. Every mention of our own BSIS PPO PPO #121830 links to the live CA DCA public license lookup. Every competitor licensing mention links to that vendor's own public license row or website.
- Wages. All wage floors and medians reference U.S. BLS OES 33-9032 for the Sacramento–Roseville–Folsom MSA (most recent annual release).
- Law. California statutory citations quote CA Business & Professions Code Ch. 11.5 (§7580 et seq.) and CA Penal Code sections as published on leginfo.legislature.ca.gov.
- Crime data. Neighborhood risk statements reference FBI UCR, Sacramento PD open data portal, and county sheriff quarterly reports where available.
- Competitor claims. Every scorecard row about a competitor is sourced from that vendor's own public page and marked with a citation. We do not publish another vendor's pricing.
- Pricing on our own pages. Prices ($15/night patrol, $28–$38/hr unarmed, $38–$55/hr armed) are our own published rate card and are refreshed each fiscal quarter.

Review cadence & corrections
Landing pages and comparison pages are reviewed at least quarterly. Public wage, licensing, and legal references are re-checked whenever the underlying source updates. Corrections are logged in the page's footer "Last reviewed" date. To request a correction, email (530) 902-9390.
What we don't claim
We do not claim membership in ASIS, IFPO, NCS4, or any certification we do not hold. Where we cite public agencies (BLS, BSIS, FBI, SacPD, DOJ COPS), those are references to their public data — not affiliations.
